Mitch Grissim & Associates Announces the Make a Difference Scholarship
Mitch Grissim & Associates, a personal injury law firm in Nashville, is proud to announce its 2019 Make a Difference Scholarship, which will offer $1,000 each to two students in Tennessee who are pursuing higher education.
This is the first year the prominent law firm has provided a scholarship opportunity for students. The winners will submit essays that best answers the question: “What is your core philosophy and how do you want to effect change in your community.”
Mitch Grissim Makes a Difference
The name of the scholarship, “Make a Difference,” personally and professionally resonates with founder and lead attorney, Mitch Grissim.
Born and raised in Tennessee, Grissim pursued higher education at the Nashville School of Law and opened his law practice in the heart of Nashville, which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary of fighting for the rights of injured victims.
Grissim was taught from an early age that small things can make a big difference in someone else’s life. His father, a prominent lawyer in Nashville, taught Grissim how to apply this lesson to his legal career.
As a Nashville personal injury lawyer, Grissim’s clients are usually dealing with devastating injuries due to an accident that wasn’t their fault. Some are seeking justice for the wrongful death of a loved one.
Grissim believes it is his job to make a difference in his clients’ lives during these difficult times. “It’s simple but important actions such as returning every phone call before the end of the day and doing exactly what you say you’re going to that make all the difference,” Grissim said. Mitch Grissim & Associates has helped countless people obtain compensation for their injuries and losses that resulted from another individual’s careless actions.
For Grissim and his team, the law is intended to protect people’s rights and make the world a better place to live. With this in mind, the standard at Mitch Grissim & Associates is serving clients to the best of their ability and giving back to the community.
It is for this reason that Grissim decided to start the Make a Difference Scholarship. “We hope this scholarship encourages young people to go out and make a difference in our communities,” Grissim said.
